The Montreal Children's Hospital of the MUHC has a proven record of excellence
in patient care, teaching, research and technology assessment. As part of our
mandate, we advocate for the health care needs of the children of Quebec and
Canada on issues such as injury prevention, obesity, hearing screening and
other emerging pediatric health concerns.
The work we do as a leading pediatric teaching hospital attracts considerable
attention from the media. The Public Relations and Communications (PRC) staff
handles hundreds of inquiries each year from local, national and international
media outlets who seek information ranging from medical breakthroughs and
research discoveries to opinions regarding health care trends and heartwarming
stories about the care of children.
The PRC staff is on hand to answer questions from the media, set up interviews
with our health care professionals and facilitate in-depth research for
documentaries or other special features. We will do everything possible to
accommodate your request.
Outside of business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) please call the receptionist at
