Trauma continues to be the leading cause of death and disability in children, teens, and young adults. In the field of trauma, after the fact is often too late. A split second impulsive decision can result in a life altering event that impacts the person involved, his/her family, his/her friends and the community.

Sometimes you may feel invincible and want to experience the thrill of the moment, without necessarily considering the consequences. For many teenagers, peer acceptance and respect is more important than anything.
